Azure Functions on Linux

There is clear documentation for anything running on Windows but for Function Apps on Linux there is no documentation other than pointing to OpenTelemetry. Is this the only method available for gaining visibility into functions running on Linux? Using the dedicated plan.

Or is there any functionality on the roadmap for instrumentation?

Specifically for Python based Function apps.

If I remember correctly, we ended up suggesting implementation with OpenTelemetry.
