We currently have an ORACLE 17 database, which is part of a bare metal GCP database.

We have not detected any extensions to monitor this component from Dyna, either through One Agent or another resource.

We hope you can help us.

Any specific reason of why the actual Oracle Database Extension does not fit your needs?

It should works just normally with Oracle 17 running in bare-metals at cloud. Just make sure to allow the right user grants and network connection from your Active Gates;

Can that extension connect to GCP?
Since the database doesn't have a direct connection to the Oracle portal, it resides within a GCP project.

If this extension works like this, it's possible for us to use it.

Hi @VFVCLIV,

Check the extesnion documentation and configuration and you will see it is possible. As @dannemca mentioned your environment ActiveGate should have access to the Oracle database service port in my case on the default 1521. So you should solve the network access, and then a proper oracle user will be required (based on the documentation.
