Integrate W3C Trace Telemetry with App Insights Without Conflicts

Hello:

About 3 years back we ran into an issue with app insights and Dynatrace one agent. In short, when we ran into issues that when Dynatrace sett the distributed telemetry context headers which resulted in App Insights not tracing the requests.

In short, Application maps and connectivity could only appear on one of the 2 applications (Dynatrace and App Insights)

Is this still the case?

Is anyone successfully running App Insights and Dynatrace Once agent concurrently and both and leverage the data?

Is anyone able to see their application maps connectivity in both programs?
