There are many interesting metrics for EC2 instances (<A rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/viewing_metrics_with_cloudwatch.html" target="_blank">list</A>) out of which we chose the following:</P><UL><LI>CPU usage %</LI><LI>network received/transmitted rate</LI><LI>instance storage (read/write IOPS and read/write rate)</LI></UL><P>Memory utilization is not reported via CloudWatch. To have visibility of the memory usage you need to deploy OneAgent on a EC2 host. If you will instal OA you will have extra host and there you will se memory. Here is another case, because of some issue not all metrics are collected by dynatrace. Our EC2 instances does not have this metric as well. It is possible that API has changed and Dynatrace has to adapt.
