Can Dynatrace Cluster Nodes be in 2 AWS Regions?

Is it possible to have Dynatrace cluster nodes in 2 different AWS regions, assuming they are both synced with the same time server?

Hi,
no, cross data center cluster deployments are not supported yet.

What is missing is data center awareness, so that each region would maintain a complete replica of
the data and that agents would prefer cluster nodes and security gateways
in their own region (or the one geographically closer).

Note that it is perfectly fine to have cluster nodes in multiple availability zones within an AWS region.

Do you mind if I ask what is your primary use case for multi-region deployment?

A potential customer and I were discussing the levels to which Dynatrace could continue functioning if AWS had a catastrophic failure in 1 of the regions. Thanks for your answer Krzysztof!
