topic Non-root mode in containerized application monitoring in Container platforms

I haven't try any non-root installation yet, but of course it works well in normal technology monitoring (otherwise, it wouldn't be roll out)

But I just wonder if I want to monitor containerized application, would non-root mode still works? or wouldn't?

Because few weeks down I might be considering this approach, one of the clients is really sensitive with the security of their OpenShift platform, thus we are being blocked on this matter. Once this matter is resolved I believe I can persuade them to go with OneAgent installation whether it is full-stack approach of PaaS approach.

Hello Wai

Yes it should still works, there are some exceptions for
some older kernels but in general you should be able to monitor containerized
application in non-root mode.
