Dynakube error "failed to update DynaKube after failure, original error: %!s(\u003cnil\u003e)"

I have recently updated the dynatrace to v0.12.0 and that onwards oneagent injection not working. Troubleshoot command says all good and activegates pods are up n running. I can see the kubernetes metrics in dynatrace and pods also have init container injected but hosts are not connected to any activegates.

What was the previous version you were running?

If init containers are there and the init install logs indicate success.. check the special agent logs that are on the application pods.
