Is it required to restart monitored applications after uninstalling Dynatrace Kubernetes operator?

Is it required to restart monitored applications after uninstalling Dynatrace Kubernetes operator. Currently, we're using DT classic full stack monitoring and plan to just uninstall for now.

Hi @kasirebyou'll have the OneAgents running inside the pods. Since the Operator has been removed, the logs and the OA will attempt to connect to ActiveGate, generating some unnecessary logs and connection attempts.

Therefore, it's not mandatory immediately after uninstalling, but it's recommended.

Sounds good, we plan to restart monitored applications in a week. I am making sure uninstallation somehow does not break our applications requests.

Actually, the code modules are placed inside the pods. OneAgents will have been deleted after uninstalling.

But, sure a restart would be for the best (but not mandatory)/
