Best way to monitor OpenShift

Hello,

I have a question what it's a better way to monitor OpenShift in your opinion?

We've two ways to implement monitoring:

Standard install OneAgent on the host where we have OpenShift instance.
Second way is use the Dynatrace Oneagent Operator (https://bit.ly/2Rn2kF2)

Two ways works but in first option we have more work with oneagent managing. What do you recommend?

Hi Radosław,

Have you had a look at the blog post pertaining the OneAgent Operator? Bernhard provides some benefits of using the operator.

Hi Radoslaw,

For OpenShift, the recommendation is really to use the OneAgent Operator. On top of the benefits described in the blog post shared by Siavash, additional day2 operation automation options and monitoring capabilities for OpenShift/Kubernetes will be available in the future via the Operator.
