No Log Data Available from a custom log source and how to create a custom log source

Hi Team ,

I have two main questions :

I am getting my logs ingested in this folder by default : E:\TSCL_Runtime\TSCLUSERS\SYSTEM\JOURNALS . Is it possible to define a rule in which I can override the Dynatrace predefined security rules and get the logs ingested in DT directly from this path . The current one that I am trying to use as a POC is this path : E:\TSCL_Runtime\TSCLUSERS\SYSTEM\JOURNALS\log .

The modified path is showing up in the DT but it says no log data . I am certain that there are some log files in this format E:\TSCL_Runtime\TSCLUSERS\SYSTEM\JOURNALS\log\PROD*.txt BUT DT OA is not able to read those files . Can you help here why is that .

I have updated the ingestion rules as : E:\TSCL_Runtime\TSCLUSERS\SYSTEM\JOURNALS\log\Jobs\PROD*.txt . Still no response

Hi,

Next would be create a security rule, to allow that log ingestion.
