topic Sending Log from ECS fargate to dynatrace in Log Analytics

Hi Team,

I need your help with a case I’m not sure is feasible.

Currently, my logs are being written to CloudWatch, but I want to move from CloudWatch to Dynatrace logs. I’m using ECS Fargate, where my Node.js application (NestJS) is running, and I use Pino for logging.

I’ve read in the documentation that I need to use AWS FireLens for log ingestion into Dynatrace. However, my concern is whether I can achieve the same result without using FireLens.

Do I have to run a Fluent Bit container as a sidecar in ECS, or are there other options?

I’m currently using OneAgent injection in the Dockerfile when building the image and pushing it to ECR. When that image is deployed in ECS, the agent starts automatically and sends infrastructure and application metrics to the Dynatrace dashboard.

Can I use the same agent to send logs as well ?

At the end i want to know what is the best approach and why?.

It'll be really helpful if someone could help me out.
Thanks
