Please check the oneagent loganalytics module logs on the hosts (/var/log/dynatrace/oneagent/loganalytics) and check oneagent-logmon-detailed.log and oneagent-logmon-general.log logs for details. You can also download these using support archive if you don't have direct access to the hosts.

I want to monitor log files on 16 servers from a custom log source. The log source is deposited on every server individually with a matching log ingestion rule. On 4 of the servers it does work and the logs are being ingested. On the other servers however, the message "no log data available" is displayed. This cant be caused by log files being to old, not there or a wrong ingestion rule (it is currently configured to ingest all logs with the custom source).

Can the message be caused by any other reason, or is there any possibility to get a deeper insight into why it works on some servers, but not on others?

It seems like it just took ununsually long for the files to be ingested. But its working now, thanks for the very quick help!
