Hello,

would like to know how dynatrace monitors Application error logs?

You have more options:

1. Log monitoring:

You can find the relevant information in the documentation. Log Monitoring | Dynatrace Docs

When you select an application log to monitor you will have different options to "record" the errors.

- Create an event by filtering for the error pattern

- Create a log metric by filtering for the error pattern (I perfer this, I can count it, vizulaize and then create an alert). See a simple filtering rule.

2. Use the Multidimensional analysis feature for the application exceptions. You can reach it form the main menu or from the choosen service. Exception analysis | Dynatrace Docs
