Workflows must be allowed to read app settings on your behalf to run workflows. Insufficient permissions can lead to an execution error.

To grant this permission, open Workflows, go to Settings > Authorization Settings, and select `app-settings:objects:read`.

Hello Monika, can you tell me the use case for this workflow?

Why? Well I recently completed a POC with a customer where we used Workflows to connect and PULL Incident and Change data from Servicenow. This allowed us to visualise real time incidents and planned changes taking place for each team using Dynatrace. ie whats happening operationally, and what is planned in the future that we need to know about.

Marwan - what is your use case? I got zero response above.

However, I have successfully deployed a Servicenow workflow at many customers to visualise and correlate Incidents/Changes within Dynatrace.

Open the Workflows App
Workflows
1. Click the Settings Icon
  In the upper-right corner of the Workflows app, you'll see a gear icon ⚙️ labeled Settings.
2. Select “Authorization Settings”
  Inside the Settings menu, choose Authorization Settings. This is where you can:
3. Consent to Permissions
  If it’s your first time running a workflow, Dynatrace will prompt you to authorize the workflow service. You can choose to allow full access or customize the scope.
Tip
If you don’t see the Authorization Settings option, it might be due to missing IAM permissions like iam:bindings:* or automation:workflows:admin. You may need to ask your Dynatrace admin to grant those.

This is now resolved. Is a permission issue which was added. Thanks for your reply
