**DMM 2 is out: a complete rewrite.** Dynatrace Mass Management is now a static browser app. Nothing to install, no server: open the page, add a token, go.

**[Open DMM →](https://hclivess.github.io/dynatrace-mass-management/)**

Try it without a Dynatrace account:

- [Live on the Dynatrace Playground](https://hclivess.github.io/dynatrace-mass-management/#/try/playground) (real demo data, read-only)
- [With sample data](https://hclivess.github.io/dynatrace-mass-management/#/try/sample) (three invented environments, every feature works)

### What it does

- **All environments side by side** : hosts, open problems, critical vulnerabilities, offline ActiveGates and failing SLOs across all your tenants.
- **Bulk changes** the UI makes tedious. Filter, select all, act:
  - enable/disable OneAgent monitoring or switch monitoring mode on hundreds of hosts at once
  - add or remove tags on any entity selector
  - close problems, mute vulnerabilities, toggle synthetic monitors, revoke API tokens

- **Copy configuration between environments** : any Settings 2.0 schema (auto-tags, maintenance windows, management zones, alerting profiles, notifications, metric events…). Each target validates first, duplicates are skipped, failures are reported per object.
- **Export everything** : every table to CSV or JSON; settings, dashboards and request naming rules export and import as JSON.
- **Explore** : metric explorer with charts, entity queries, events (including sending deployment events), logs, releases, SLOs, extensions, network zones, audit log.

### Security

- Requests go straight from your browser to Dynatrace. There is no DMM server; the page is static files on GitHub Pages.
- Tokens stay in the browser tab by default. Optionally remembered on the device, encrypted with AES-256-GCM under your passphrase (PBKDF2, 600k iterations).
- Strict Content-Security-Policy: no third-party scripts, no tracking.
- Works with classic access tokens, personal access tokens and platform tokens. DMM reads the token’s scopes and greys out pages it can’t use, saying which scope is missing.

### Run it your way

- Hosted: [DMM · Dynatrace Mass Management](https://hclivess.github.io/dynatrace-mass-management/)
- Offline: grab the zip from the [latest release](https://github.com/hclivess/dynatrace-mass-management/releases/latest) and double-click `index.html`. The whole app is a single ~190 KB file you can put on a share or an internal web server. The zip has no Playground demo token, so the live demo works only on the hosted site; offline, bring your own token or use the sample data.
- Works with SaaS, the new platform URLs and Managed.

### Coming from 1.x

- The Python/Tornado server is gone; your old `secrets.json` can be imported once from the Environments page.
- Config API v1 calls were replaced with Settings 2.0.
- Account Management (users, groups, permissions) was removed: Dynatrace’s CORS policy doesn’t allow it from a browser. The same goes for the platform APIs on `*.apps.dynatrace.com` (Grail/DQL, new dashboards).
