_Summary: The post addresses errors when assigning monitoring configurations to ActiveGate. Hi [@juangarcia23](https://community.dynatrace.com/user/72884) ,  Without looking at the configuration it’s difficult to tell exactly what’s going on just from the error you posted. However, as the Confluent API is public, I would make sure your ActiveGate(s) have network access to it. If you have multiple ActiveGates in the configured group, to take full advantage of the group, each AG would need to have access to the API. If you’ve verified connectivity with the [Confluent API.](https://api.telemetry.confluent.cloud/v2/metrics/cloud/export?resource.kafka.id=lkc-XXXXX) , please open a support ticket and we can take a closer look. ---
