Hello Everyone,

How can I change the default path of Dynatrace memory dump form “C:/ProgramData/dynatrace/oneagent/memorydump/” to another path?

Thank you.

Hello [@dynatrace A.](https://answers.dynatrace.com/users/6185/view.html),

Here you can find a similar question:

[memory dump local path](https://answers.dynatrace.com/questions/196105/memory-dump-local-path.html)

and the answer was “the path to memorydumps is dependent on installation folder. So the customer may change the location, by changing the whole installation folder for OneAgent.” This documentation article seems to confirm this:
[Configure an ActiveGate for memory dump storage](https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/shortlink/enable-memory-dumps)

I didn’t find any information that this has changed since 2018, but if anyone knows anything about this - please comment.

You can, since OneAgent version 1.199, have a different data storage path yes - valid for [Windows](https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/shortlink/windows-custom-installation#data-storage), [Linux](https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/shortlink/linux-custom-installation#data-storage) and [AIX](https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/shortlink/aix-custom-installation#data-storage) agents.
