# How to monitor and add the external log file in Dynatrace?

Hi Team,

I have a windows machine and I created a folder called Dynatrace inside another folder .log after I deployed OneAgent in the server and checked the log file but it’s not there. How to monitor and add the external log file in Dynatrace?
