Hello team,

We currently have some RabbitMQ inside docker container. We would like to monitor them with Dynatrace.

I have seen this link related to out of the box support but i was not able to monitor it.

In the documentation they don’t speak about RabbitMQ. Do you support it inside docker ?

So it would mean the oneagent inside the container request port 15672.

Thanks,

Alex

Most plugins does not work unfortunately for containers. As I remember this one does not work as well.

Thanks Sébastien. So sad 😞 I hope it is going to come as more and more “things” are inside container. Dynatrace is leading cloud/containers monitoring but some part are not supported 😞

I know the redis one works with Container (i have already used it)

In general I’ve heard about plans for extending plugin support inside containers. I can’t remember Roadmap and ETA for that.

The new Prometheus extension for RabbitMQ works fine with containerized RabbitMQ processes: [https://www.dynatrace.com/hub/detail/prometheus-rabbitmq/](https://www.dynatrace.com/hub/detail/prometheus-rabbitmq/)
