# Update problem on ActiveGate for Dynatrace Managed

HI

We’re facing the update problem on one of my managed Dynatrace ActiveGate. We have done the manual update, but synthetic monitoring is offline. What might be the reason for offline?

if the synthetic activegate has deployed in Linux Vm, First you need to update the Chromium version and then you can update the Activegate softwere.
