# Why is my Transaction storage truncating even though all my managed cluster nodes have free disk space?

Question

Why is my Transaction storage truncating even though all my managed cluster nodes have free disk space?

## Answer

- Transaction storage truncates when there is only 5% of the disk space left for storage or breaches the minimum set.
- The transaction storage isn’t replicated between nodes because it is load is balanced between all available nodes on the cluster.
- Thus, if one node drops below that threshold an alert will be raised.
