Custom Metrics through python custom plugin are baselined and contributes to problem identification?

Hi,

We are starting a project that will require a custom plugin using the SDK. So, we have the following question:

Custom Metrics through python custom plugin are baselined and contributes to problem identification?

And also, is there a limit for this kind of custom metrics (like more than 100 will have a cost), as indicated here for the api (pricing):

Custom plugin metrics can contribute within the AI correlation by defining custom events and thresholds. We did not introduce any baselining here as our upcoming AI approach will find abnormal metric behavior in custom metrics without baselining anyway.

About the cost? does it have a limit? or customer can create any number of custom metrics this way?

There is a number of free metrics and above we have a metric based billing scheme. Please check with your Dynatrace sales rep.
