About the source of Web request count measurement

khanada

Hi

There are two measurements of web requests.

1.

[Server Side Performance]-->[Agent based Measures]-->[Web Server]-->[Requests]

2.

[Server Side Performance]-->[Transaction based Measures]-->[Web Requests]-->[Number of Requests]

Is it simply the number of PurePath?

Are you calculating other data sources?

Source example

[Server Side Performance]-> [Agent based Measures]-> [Web Server]-> [Busy Threads] is obtained from the Apache scoreboard.

First one is count on WebServer itslef, you can extract number of requests as metric from this level. Second one is number of WebRequest catched by Appmon. You have to remember that some percent of transaction may be invisible in Appmon because of multiple reasons (resources, network etc).
