Hi Jaydatt,

Looking at the log file screenshot, this looks like a Java agent. The agent doesnt truly get restarted, as it isn't really a separate process. It is loaded as a library into the JVM that is being monitored, and as such whenever the JVM is restarted in a sense, the agent is as well. Based on the screenshot you posted, the agent seemed to initialize successfully. Is it not displaying in the Agent Overview?

Hi Jacob,

Snapshot is the log that captured when manually invoke. when we tried to invoke it using application start up file it doesnt create any logs so application is not invoking the agent.

We have the same problem in our environment with younger applications using the new agent plattform.

Hello @Raphael M.

Did you review the agent logs?

Is your application is starting as usual or taking more time to start in this situation?

Regards,

Babar

Hello @Babar Q.

yes, we did review the logs of course. Application is starting without problems, but in the end without a working java agent connected to the collector / server. Strange behaviour. I'll open a support ticket, because the number of affected application is growing within our nonprod environment.

Hello @Jaydatt D.

I Have the same problem now, do you found the solution ?

Best Regards

Luis

Hi Jose,

in our case there was another apm agent installed on same application server which was causing issue.

you can check if any other apm agent is not installed on server.

Hope this will help you.

Best Regards,

Jaydatt
