Alerting based on incident count

Hi,

We have a memory measure with warning and alert thresholds. We would like to trigger an incident when the thresholds are passed for let's say 3 times per minute. Anybody knows how to do this ?

Thx,

JP

Hi Jean-Pierre,

You can do this by creating a Functional Health ->Threshold Violation Count measure and passing in your memory measure as the source measure in the Source measure field. Set the threshold of the Threshold Violation Count measure to 3 either for Warning or Severe depending on your use case and then use this measure for your incident. Set your Incident Evaluation Timeframe to 1 minute. This should handle what you are trying to do.

Thanks

NJ

Thank you Ugochukwu, but it seems that all measures are not available to create a threshold violation count (and I can't see mine, based on an mbean attribute).
