During a meeting
with the Customer they asked us about
Downtime Period and its behaviour. The thing is that they get their
Applications availability index using Funtional
Health and User
Action Health Dashlets but, as
they have controlled backups, restarts, deployements, etc they need ,Measures
and Errors during this Downtime Period , to be not evaluated because it causes
an Availability index distortion.
Do you know hoy to avoid this issue?
Thanks in advance,

My best solution is to manually create a new profile configuration, with all sensor groups set as inactive.
Then you can integrate and automate the activation of the configuration from any CI tool (so you disable data capturing at the exact beginning and end of the downtime period).
The REST Call to perform is Activate profile configuration.
When the downtime ends, you can activate the default configuration back.
In case you can't implement that integration, it is possible to schedule an AppMon Plugin execution to perform the disable/enable actions at recurring dates and times. A Linux task or a little program could also do the trick.
