with the Customer they asked us about
Functional Health Dashketm - Failure rate calculation (they use this value to calculate their App-availability). This client has AppMon
Server unexpected shutdowns (we are studying that, it seems to be a Sizing issue). Sometimes it has been stopped for hours and here
is the questions. If we calculate the Failure Rate for a long period, for
example a week, how does it calculate for the period which does not have
measures due to the Server unavailability. Does it assign a 0 which will
increment Failure rate Index or does it obvious these gap period as it doesn't

The short answer is that AppMon doesn't see any gaps. It just records PurePaths or not.
The Functional Heath dashboard is based on PurePaths. When you have 10 recorded PurePaths, with 5 of them marked as failed, your Failure Rate is at 50%. If some PurePaths were not recorded or discarded, they are NOT taken into account.
