But it will still hang there in the dashboard and DB, right ?
What if we 1000+ unattended Incidents ? Will that have any performance impacts for not manually deleting the Incidents ?
I am not sure how/if purging of incidents takes place. Hopefully someone who knows how that works will chime in.

These Incidents are stored in the Performance Warehouse DB, but it shouldn't cause any performance issues. Incidents will not be cleared from Incident dashboards unless you confirm or delete yourself, there is no auto closing.
