I want to setup alerts for application process unavailable incident for only one agent group in system profile.we have 4 agent groups and if I setup this alerts it was triggering for all other agents groups.
Can someone help me whether it is feasible to setup default alerts for specific groups.
That incident applies to all agents in the profile and there's no real way to actually filter the incident. What you can do is use the extended email plugin which allows for more filtering on the actual alert that is sent out.
The log messages aren't very helpful. I suppose I would double check the connection info for the server and smtp server. One thing that might be an issue is if you have the rest interface disabled for standard http, you may want to try switching to https. I would also up the logging for the plugin while you're working on this.
