Appmon Collector - Possible Anti-Virus interference

Hi all,

We've recently had an issue with one of our collectors where its no longer connected to our server.

The server is located externally of the collector but firewall rules are still in place to allow this communication. Windows Firewall is disabled for this host. We've done all the normal troubleshooting steps to try and correct this, restarting the Collector server and host with no change.

What my question is, has anyone experienced issues with McAfee or other antivirus applications that have effected Collector > Server communication? and if so what steps did you take to resolve the issue?

Hello Kyle,

We had faced a similar issue with the McAfee antivirus. We had a small discussions in the below post which can give you an idea that how initially you can start addressing the situation.
