In dynaTrace 6.2, Is it Best Practice to still clear the class cache and restart Collectors before the Agents/Applications are restarted? From what I understand, the collector now (I think since 6.1) has the ability to manage the class cache itself and that clearing the cache might actually deteriorate the performance?

From the Collector documentation :
To answer if the Collector has the ability to manage the class cache itself: "To prevent the class cache from growing too large, the Collector performs a daily cleanup task. Classes that are not used for a week are purged from the cache."
To answer if you should manually clear the class cache: "Clear a cache manually only when your class cache is corrupted and you must clear it immediately"
