Hello, my customer has a production and a parallel production environment where they flip flop roles every so often. So prod will become parallel and parallel will be promoted to production.
I'm curious how others with a parallel environment have handled things (even if it's a lower environment).
What do you do for system profile(s), what do you do for agent groups, how do you name everything, do you have to change names every single flip? Any ideas on how to simplify this as much as possible would be great. Thank you.
Have you tried mapping both systems into a single system profile and then using Applications to differentiate between both versions? I would assume that the "live system" always comes in on the same URL Endpoint, e.g: www.mycompany.com where the other system is something like "staging.mycompany.com". that could be a great way to actually keep everything in one system profile and analyze and compare performance between these two apps
