Blank incidents from URL Monitor

Hello,

I have several URL Monitors set up in my AppMon 6.5 and have configured incidents to be raised when the host is not reachable, response is different than 200, connection times out, etc.

I am looking at the incidents raised when hosts are unreachable (URL Monitor's HostReachable returns 0); the individual monitor incidents seem to contain the relevant information in their details, however there are some incidents which don't reference a specific monitor, but instead have a label "<all agents>" - these incidents are blank.

When are these incidents triggered?
Why are they blank, containing no relevant information?
How can they be excluded so I only have incidents for specific monitors?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Radu

Can you show your incident configuration? Your incident is based on a measure, and the measure generates an aggregate (<all-agents>) in addition to the individual splittings. so if your condition is true for the aggregate measure it will fire with <all-agents> in the details. Likely you can set your condition to "minimum" so it would only ever fir the <all-agents> if literally every monitor target returned 0

What update are you on? This may be related to:

  • JLT-175159 - Duplicated/nameless incidents created from Monitor Measures

Fix came out in 6.5.7 if that is the case.

Hey @Radu S., did you ever find a solution for this?
