Browser Error Rules - ignore ExtJS error

Hello,

actually we are in progress of AppMon roll out on our landscapes. For some reason one of our application still use ExtJS 3.2. This is counted as error in "Browser Error". As we are new to AppMon I need hint how to define an ignore rule in "Error detection => JavaScript Syntax Error" that will ignored in case Error message is "ExtJS not instrumented because version (3.2) not supported."

Hi Thomas,

the Javascript Syntax error rule is just an example rule. You can delete it and configure more sophisticated rules that match your needs. You can either use a regex to filter for errors or you could use simple expressions like "contains" or "does not contain", etc... The only problem - you can only have one filter per error rule. So keeping the generic regex and then excluding all that contain a specific string is not possible.

Best regards,

Dominik
