We've installed the .NET agent and instrumented the PeopleSoft windows services - but there is no agent activity

Hello John,

Check the following post if it helps.

Babar - Thanks, I already checked that post but it isn't helpful.

We have a peopletools installation - we see a connection to Dynatrace, but now purepaths are created - even when we run CPU sampling while user is exercising the application.

We've been told that instrumenting the Tuxedo instances is the key entry point. Do you have any information on how to do that?

Hello John,

Below post is a bit old but this is exactly you have been asked. Just go through with the post and if you want me to help to create the custom sensors, feel free to ask.

Babar,

This doesn't work. This is another thread from Rob V. that details this but isn't publish for customers.

Hello John,

Thank you for this information.

It means that is still private which is accessable only to staff.

Hi John G. Where you able to get AppMon working in your PeopleSoft 8.54 environment? I was recently approached by one of our application teams and they are running the same version.

Thank you,

Mike

No luck instrumenting PeopleSoft 8.54 with AppMon. You can get host health metrics, but that isn't very valuable for PeopleSoft 8.54. DCRUM is the solution that Dynatrace recommends. Unfortunately, we are not a customer.
