Can Incidents dashlet show only incidents that exceeded evaluation timeframe since they started?

Hi there,

we have AppMon 6.5 production and soon we are gonna upgrade to 7.0. We have some external tool with script that is asking REST API for Incidents dashboard and is recognizing active incidents (new ones with no End Time), then sending information to some console.

We have some incidents with Evaluation Timeframe set to 5min. In Incidents dashboard the incident appears after exceeding the threshold even if it's only for 10 seconds. And thats the problem, our script is asking for Incidents dashboard every minute and it catches every single one that started before and has not ended yet.

Is there any way to filter Incidents dashlet to show only those that exceeded evaluation timeframe?

Hello David,

In the edit filter of incidents dashlet, there is an option for the incidents state.

Will this work for you?

Hi Babar,

I have tried this but you have to first set Incident state to Confirmed or In progress in order to somehow make it different and filter it afterwards. So that is one more step that we would have to do and it's really hard to automate in our case.

This is sadly not working.
