Can we modify baseline rule to choose which alert to send in Appmon 6.5

In AppMon 6.5, there are baseline rules: Failure rate too high one of them. If a BT breached out a threshold, it will send an email alert. Is there a way that I can take one of BT out to prevent sending alert from this BT? Where could I do the configuration change?

Thanks.

Emily

The business transactions that are baselined are those included in the Applications Overview dashboard:

https://www.dynatrace.com/support/doc/appmon/appli...

In the top right gear icon on this page you can select which business transactions will be baselined and thus included in that incident via "select monitored business transactions."

If you start on the default monitoring dashboards you can click on the "applications" link to get to this.

Hi Emily,

Im not sure if there is a way to unsubscribe the failure rate to high incident without removing it from the selected monitored business transactions (which you would lose the baselines in this case).

One work around that comes to mind is to just set the failure rate for that BT to such a level that an alert based on failure rate wont trigger. You can do this by clicking the gear icon on the business transaction itself in the motioning screen. within that window set the failure rate to a percent that wouldnt trigger the alert (based on your environment usage). This gives you the baseline, while keeping all alerts technically, but setting the failure rate so that it doesnt trigger based on the value you provided. hope this helps.
