Can we use dynatrace ADK ReportString data as analytical data

Hi,

Using Javascript ADK( enteraction ,leave action) we have logged required information on USER Actions purepath. As these data cannot be retrieved after somedays, we are planning to log the FE required details using Dynatrace ADK "reportString" and create BT.

Would like to confirm if the data's got from Reportstring in BT used as analytical data and lifetime of data got from Reportstring ADK.

Hi Karthika,

Capturing data in a business transaction will not extend the lifetime of the captured PurePath data. However, the business transaction will also create result metrics and split metrics that will be maintained in high, medium and low resolution in accordance with your Performance Warehouse storage management settings. If you kept the default settings, your would have 1 minute resolution available for 2 weeks, 1 hour resolution available for 2 months, and 1 day resolution available indefinitely
