Cannot get the actual Message count

I have configured a measure to get number of received messages in a particular queue. But it is not showing the actual values. Why is that? I have attached some screenshots of my measure.

Is it wrong? Could you please guide me ASAP.

Hello,

Destination doesn't seem to match with any queue name.

What is the full name of your particular queue ?

Regards,

Mathieu

Hi,

This is the queue name.

SORBModule!SVJMS_SVR2@SingleViewSoapRequest_Q

Could you try to configure the destination with "equals" instead of "contains" ?

I have tried by changing destination category, but its not giving the actual count. Normally in the queue, we have around 90k received messages. But here its showing around 2000 message count.

Are you sure all messages come from SORBPROD Application ?

If not, try to configure your measure to calculate for all application.

Hi, I have tried those methods. But no luck. The measure i have configured is correct right.

But it is not giving the received message count, which is showing in WebLogic. Any other measure, which i can use to get the message count?

Hi Michael,

You can try to have this measure with the Weblogic FastPack :

Fastpack.. is it a new tool?

Can't I find a measure from dynatrace dashboard itself?
because i want to maintain one dashboard for several measures.

Do you know, why the actual message count is not showing by using the above measure?

Any additional configurations to be done?

Any idea on this...

I don't know.

Maybe some messages don't come from SORBPROD Application...

Other messages come from others applications not configured in Dynatrace...

Try to install this :

https://community.dynatrace.com/community/display/DL/Oracle+WebLogic+FastPack

A FastPack is set for a specific technology. In this set, you have a Dynatrace plugin to retrieve measures from Weblogic through JMX (as your received message count), a system profile with Weblogic measures configured and some dashboard to show this measures.

You can use this measures on other dashboards.

Mathieu
