Changing the Evaluation Threshold on Agent/Collector disconnection alerts

horneman

We are having an issue with an excessive number of agent/collector disconnection alerts. There are many alerts for very short disconnects which we would like to ignore.

It seems like this would be accomplished by changing the Evaluation Timeframe for the alert, but that option is greyed out for the "Application Process Unavailable" alerts as shown by the attached screenshot. Is there a way to adjust the threshold for these alerts or otherwise reduce the amount of noise?

Thanks!

@Auric Horneman you can change the suppress the incidents after incident ends to 3600sec or as according

@Taneshaa T

The option to suppress additional incidents is also greyed out for this type of alert. Also, I'd rather not suppress alerts as I'd be worried about missing longer/major disconnection issues.

@Auric Horneman as this incident is inbuilt It can't be changed.

What are the technical conditions that trigger the alert?

hello Eric,

This is an inbuilt Incident which cannot be modified. It can be disabled. I guess there is an option to Check Smart Alerting.
