I noticed in another forum that there is an easy way to get HTTP 4xx and 5xx error counts per system profile but is there a way to get the counts by application or by agent?
I don't see any BT splitting measures to allow me to do it be creating a business transactions nor any measures except for the overall system profile measures (under server side performance) mentioned in:

To start, there definitely should be splitting options for Agent and Application. When you create a new Business Transaction, the default splitting option that loads is Application.
If there isn't an available 5xx or 4xx HTTP response measure available, you can create one by searching for HTTP Response Code when you go to create a new measure. When you are creating this measure, ensure that the value begins with either 4 or 5, depending on which you are interested in. You'll want to create one measure for 4xx and another for 5xx.
Add these to your Calculated Results in your Business Transaction and you should be all set. If you don't want both response codes in the same Business Transaction you could simply make another one.
It may be Best Practice to create a Filter measure with a threshold of 1 of the same measures to ensure that you are only capturing PurePaths that have a 4xx or 5xx response. If that's not confusing, you may want to try it out.
