Could not connect to Dynatrace Server at the specified host - port 2021

I get this error (file attached), when i try to connect to localhost. I have tried things that were on here: https://answers.dynatrace.com/spaces/148/uem-open-q-a_2/questions/145928/after-installation-there-is-error-2021-but-i-have.html?childToView=188108#answer-188108 with no success. When I run netstat, I see no port 2021 listening, which might be the problem. Dynatrace FrontEnd Server is running though. Do you know what might be the case for the connection to not be established ? The strange thing is that everything worked just fine like a week ago but not now.

it also happened to me. I had to reinstall the client

I tried reinstalling and it worked for a while again, but then my computer got crashed and It's not working again and reinstall did not help this time 😕 Wish I knew whats causing Dynatrace server service to be stopped.

try entering 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost. It should work

Hello, Not sure, but I have faced situation where port get blocked due to unknown issue. In such cases I did booted dynatrace server os to resolve this, weird but worked for me.
