Create downtime for all incidents in a system profile

Hello everyone,

I want to create a downtime for all Incidents in a system profile for particular timeframe. But when I rgt click on a system profile to create a downtime it is showing for maximum 99 hours I can set. But I want to set for more then that time.

Is there a way to set start time on a date and end time on a date?

Thanks,

Rajanikanth

This page has the rest call you can make to create downtimes and lets you manually specify a duration for the downtime. If the 99 limit is just in the client this might let you specify a longer window:

Hi James,

I have gone through the link I understand that I can use PUT interface to add a Incident downtime. I pasted below URL in browser

https://<server>:8021/rest/management/profiles/<profilename>/incidentdowntimes/<downtimename>

changing server name and profile name.

What is downtimename here? Do I need to create a downtime first and then follow this?

Where should I mention as PUT?

You won't be able to do that in the browser, you need to send XML in the post request telling it the details about the downtime:

There are tools and browser extensions to allow you to do this such as Postman.

Something like this?
