Different values in user session query without "visualcompletetime is not null"

Hello community.

I faced with strange behavior of User session query language.

I create 3 dashlets on dashboard with such requests:

SELECT count(*) FROM useraction WHERE useraction.name="click on Update" AND useraction.visuallyCompleteTime < 10000

SELECT count(*) FROM useraction WHERE useraction.name="click on Update" AND useraction.visuallyCompleteTime >= 10000

#3

SELECT count(*) FROM useraction WHERE useraction.name="click on Update"

For "Yesterday" I have got correct result

3 7 10

For time "-7d to now-1h" I have got this:

23 77 105 expected:100

After adding condition to request#3  "visualcompletetime is not null" I had got correct answer - 100.

Can anybody clarify to me this is normal? Why for some useractions we have no visualcompletetime?

Possible  rootcause: there were sessions with unsupported or old browser?

Thanks.

Regards,

Alexander

Hello @Alexander_R_

I think it seems to the same as you suspected because the following is from the documentation.

Speed Index and Visually Complete are only available on browsers that support mutationobservers. This includes the following browsers:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 11
  • Microsoft Edge 15 or later
  • Firefox 57 or later
  • Google Chrome 61 or later
