Does Dynatrace support Node.js + Rabbitmq?

Hi Guys,

I'm currently working in a POC and customer has Noje.js publishing and getting informations in a queue in the RabbitMQ.

Does dynatrace support this kind of calls?

tnx

Hi Reginaldo,

We have a Node.js agent and a AMQP sensor so I don't see why not. Are you not seeing something you think you should be?

Hi Dan,

the transaction flow doesn't show the calls to RabbitMQ, as shows to the dotNET. and the AMPQ sensor appear to be supported only by java and dotnet.

While I don't have experience getting purepaths for actual transactions involved with Rabbit MQ, there's a good amount of monitoring provided by the Rabbit MQ plugin which was satifatory for my client. https://community.dynatrace.com/community/display/..

Perhaps this will at least give some coverage to your app.

Hi Jason,

Are your customer using Node.js + RabbitMQ too? Like mine.

Regis

Nope, only java apps, but the plugin reaches out to the rest interface of the Rabbit MQs to get message/consumer stats and some of the error conditions so it should be fine for Node.js as well. It's not as deep as PurePath level details, but they are able to see if errors are occurring.

Thank you, Jason!
