Andreas my issue is with the dynamic Header update as part of the
solution, the AUT has unique headers for each request, the Header update
removes vital header entries (refer) and breaks the script. If I comment out
sampler.getHeaderManager().clear(); this enables the script to work but results
in multiple X-dynatrace... entries building up in the request Headers, when
multiple iterations are scheduled.

I have just tried using

sampler.getHeaderManager().removeHeaderNamed("X-dynatrace");
that removes the previous header entry, instead of clear() seems to work, need to do more testing.

Thanks Pete

Hello,

If you're looking for an up to date and simple Apache JMeter
integration with Dynatrace, then have a look at the Monitoring Plugin
for JMeter provided by UbikLoadPack:

This plugin allows you to integrate with:

  • Dynatrace AppMon to record Dynatrace sessions and tag Web Requests
  • Dynatrace One Agent to be able to correlate response times, other monitoring graphs and Artificial Intelligence for analysis
