I tried to set up the "DynaTrace UEM injector" and didn't succseed.
Can someone explain what need to be set or add a usage / screenshots to https://community.dynatrace.com/community/display/...
Thanks in advance
Sorry that we dont yet have all the details on the download page. The UEM JS Agent Injector is a Chrome Plugin. You can download the file - extract it to your Filesystem and then in Chrome use the "DEveloper Mode" to install that unpacked extension to Chrome.
What it basically does is adding the script tag to load the dtagent from your dynatrace server and then also sends the captured data back to your web server that runs the dynatrace web server agent. With that you can capture UEM data for any web site you browse to in your Chrome
As we do not yet have the detailed description up I want to at least give you the high level items
#1: you need to enable CORS Support in your System Profile
#2: you also have to specify a full qualified monitor signal path, e.g: http://localhost:8080 so that dtagent loaded in your browser will send this to your localhost apache
#3: the easiest configuration option is then to select the "configure using automatic detection" option. Just enter hostname of where your web server agent is installed and let it figure out the rest
#4: Now you can click on "Toggle Injection" so that the plugin is actually doing its magic
hope this helps
I tried all of the above but unfortunately I can't see the dynaTraceMonitor inject into the pages nor the
current setting is set after using "automatic detection".
have any other suggestions?
