Error connecting: Web Server Agent to Dynatrace Server

Hi All,

If I have a AppMon 6.5 environment with 3 collectors under a collector group, is it a must to open Firewall ports between all 3 collectors and agents?
In current situation, I have opened Firewall port between one collector and a Webserver. However I'm seeing below issue of connection timeout. As you see below, agent was able to load collector peer list but eventually timed out.

Hi Keshav,

Yes, you will need to open the ports between all collectors in the group and the agents that use the group. The agent will initially connect to the agent in the INI file, but will then download a randomized list of collectors and attempt to connect to the first one in that list. You should make your group contain just the one collector until the others have the port open.

Thanks for the quick response Dave! I have submitted requests to open the FW ports.
