Error to execute the Dynatrece client - Could not find java VM for executions

Everytime need to execute the dynatrace client this error show me.

Did you install the Client-only from the Dynatrace Full installer?

Please Check your Dynatrace installation directory if there is a JRE folder within the install directory. If not (there is a bug that prevents installing the JRE from the full installer) You have two options:

- use the client standalone installer (whcih comes with a VM)

- install a Java Runtime Environment on your machine (JRE) and pass the -vm argument to the dtclient.exe (e.g. -vm C:/Java/jre-1.7.0/bin7java)

actually what I did was, install the client from the installation used dynaTrace FULL, but select only client.

the procedure was:

  • DynaTrace Client uninstall
  • download the client version of dynaTrace
  • Download jdk 8 v6

Finally, to solve the problem had to install the JDK and creating the environment variable (Java_Home) and point to the folder to use the bin java / javaw.

  • reinstall dynaTrace the client.

it's alive!

This has started happening to me - intermittently. I don't do anything to fix it, the client will open.
