Filtering Incidents


We set up downtimes during maintenance hours so we could filter out incident alerts that we knew were being induced by maintenance efforts (i.e daily file system backups, operating system patching etc). Email alerts were being filtered correctly but recently we are seeing incident alerts coming through even though we still have the downtimes defined for the specific incident during the target time frame. What will be the best way to figure out why alerts are not being filtered as they should by the defined donwtimes? Thanks

This sounds like a bug and I would open a support ticket. The incident shouldn't be able to fire if your downtime is configured properly.

This could be a bug. I would just do an additional sanity check on whether you defined the downtime on the correct System Profile. Just in case you have multiple SPs make sure you set it up on the correct ones
